Scholarships

The Center is home to the Astin Civic Engagement Scholars and Fellows Programs.

Astin Scholars are awarded up to $6,000 to conduct a civic engagement research project during their senior year. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, scholars integrate experience gained in their work with an off-campus community partner to produce an honors thesis or comprehensive research project.

Astin Fellows are awarded up to $2,000 for a 2-quarter civic engagement project during their sophomore or junior year. Fellows participate in projects that include service and/or research with an off-campus community partner and a faculty mentor.
